Refund & Return Policy

We understand that purchasing handcrafted footwear online can feel uncertain. While we believe you will be pleased with your order, we have outlined our return and refund policy below to ensure transparency and fairness.

Return Window

We offer a 30-day return window, meaning you may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item.

To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • In the same condition as received
  • Unworn and unused
  • With original tags attached
  • Returned in original packaging
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Items showing signs of wear, damage, staining, creasing on the outsole, or any other deterioration will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.


Handcrafted Product Disclaimer

As all our shoes are handcrafted using natural leathers, minor variations in texture, grain, color, or finishing are normal and not considered defects. Every pair undergoes strict quality inspection before shipping to ensure it meets our standards.


How to Start a Return

To request a return, please contact us at rot.studiox@gmail.com before sending any item back.

If your return request is approved:

  • We will provide a return shipping label (where applicable)
  • You will receive detailed instructions on how and where to send your item
    ⚠️ Items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

Return Shipping & Fees

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable


Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can evaluate and resolve the issue promptly.

Claims submitted after this period may not be accepted.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized items 
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards
  • Items that have entered production
  • Items returned with signs of wear or damage

Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges.
If you need a different size or style, the fastest solution is to:

1. Return the original item (if eligible)

2. Place a new order separately once the return is approved

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, for any reason and without justification.


Returned items must:

  • Be unworn and unused
  • Have tags attached
  • Be in original packaging
  • Include proof of purchase

Return shipping costs remain the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise required by law.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time is up to 10 business days
  • Please note that banks or credit card providers may require additional time to post the refund
